Many users have found that after upgrading to MS Office 2013, Excel fails to open CSV files -- such as those produced by the Profound UI grid widget's Excel export feature.
This seems to be a bug in some versions of the Office 2013 software, which is fixed in version 15.0.4569.1508. Any users experiencing this issue can update the Office 2013 software to correct it. The Office version number is shown on the 'Account' section (or 'Office Account' in Outlook) of the File tab in any office program:
