How should one upgrade Profound UI when upgrading to 6.1 from 5.4 of the IBM OS?

Install Profound UI as V6R1 or above before upgrading to OS 6.1 - OR -
Install Profound UI as V6R1 or above after upgrading to OS 6.1.

Will the current version of Profound UI installed as V5R3-V5R4 work after upgrading the OS to 6.1?

Installing Profound UI as V6R1 before upgrading to OS 6.1 will not work. You will need to install V6R1 after upgrading your OS to 6.1

V5R3-V5R4 will work after upgrading to 6.1 but not very well; there will be bugs and issues present.
