How can i define command keys for a display file?

Hello,

my name is Dieter from Germany. Please excuse my bad English. I have a question relating to command keys. In green screen we could define command keys from F1 to F24 directly in the display file (or as well in the record format of the display file). Usually we defined all 24 command keys in the display file and then in our RPG-program we enabled or disabled the desired command keys via indicators. In ProfoundUI i can't find such a possibility. I don't want to have a button on the screen for my command key. My idea is to create a pulldown menue. Some of the menue items should by selected not only by clicking with the mouse but by pressing a command key. So i would like to define specific command keys directly for the file (or for the record format).
Is this possible?

best regards,
Dieter

Hello,

meanwhile a had contact directly with Profound. I got the answer, that it's not possible to define command keys "standalone" in a display file. Every command key has to be connected to an object like a button.
A solution could be, to define 24 buttons with 24 command keys and to disable the visibility of the buttons. It also should be possible, to position this buttons "outside" the mask. So if you enter negative coordinates to the button, it will not appear on the screen.
Defining a button that way, you will not see the button in the desginer. You can reach the button via the elements-tab in the designer.

Thanks to Alex and Brian
for this information.
