Material Design / Different Fonts

Post by wsdweb »

Hi all together,

I tried to find something about my questions in the forum, but I could not find anything...

1. Question:

We've just starting to create some example program-screens with the Profound Visual Designer.
There are a lot of widgets in the visual designer, but nothing that looks similar to
"material design" (Design standard from Google that's common to a lot of users).

For example (Radio-Buttons like this):

https://material.io/guidelines/componen ... dio-button

Image-Example:

https://storage.googleapis.com/material ... witch1.png

Any chance to get widgets like that, or change the image behind the widgets ?

Second Question:

Our corporate design is using the windows font "Calibri" - is there any chance to use this in visual designer/ProfoundUI ?

Thanks a lot for any repsonse!

Best regards, wsdweb

Hello Walter,
we have the strategy to derive every widget we need. So we have a lot of custom widgets, which have the correct font, fontsize, color ...
Because of this a programmer has no need to change the layout of a widget. He only pulls the widget he wants from our custom widgets and at once he has the correct look and feel.
So the fonts and colors are no problem. But to get a special Google like graphic is a problem, i think.

Hello Dieter,

thanks for your comment.
But to make our own "custom widgets" I need to now how to get all of the elements, fonts etc in a way we would prefere it.
For example widgets in "Material design style"...
So that the programmers later should/could only use our own widgets and the screens have the same look and feel.

Walter
