How would you copy the DDS to another DDS source?

Post by Profound Logic »

Question:
How would you assign the interface if you copy the DDS to another DDS source of different name?

Answer:
We’re not exactly sure if we understand the question, but here it goes...

You’ll work with the DDS source and objects in the same way that you do for green-screen programming. So, if you compile the DDS source into a different object name, you’ll need to change the name used in the RPG program so that it can find it.

An easier way is to save the new source in a different library, so that you can leave the RPG code the same, and just use a different library list to pick up the new display file.

If we’ve missed the point, please feel free to contact us at support@profoundlogic.com. We’ll be glad to give you more information on this.
