SUGGESTION : closable option on Atrium.launchItem

Post by amc »

Hi,

In the Atrium.launchURL function there is a "closable" option which can remove the "x" close icon on the tab.

It would be very useful if this option was also available on the Atrium.launchItem function. It is always best if the user exits via the program logic, rather than just closing the tab.

At the moment, we are removing this "x" close icon with JavaScript at onload time for every program we launch, but it would be simpler to have it as part of the function.

regards

This is a good suggestion, and is not very difficult to implement. We will certainly take this into consideration.

As always, keep an eye on the PU welcome page to be notified of updates and new features.

Thanks David,

I see this is working in 3.0.2

This mod ought to be extended it to Atrium menu navigation maintenance. Either a checkbox that appears when a Rich Display File Application is selected, or an additional dropdown that says "a non-closable tab in the portal". RPG programs opened from Atrium menus should also be exited through program logic rather than just killing the tab.
