Visual Designer does not start after Upgrade 3.0.0

I just upgraded to 3.0.0 and the Visual Designer is not starting any more ("Loading Profound UI..."). What can be done to correct this?

I would suspect that the problem is one of two things:

1. Your browser is caching the old files. Some links have changed and if your browser is caching, this could happen. Try clearing the cache.

2. The http server configuration has changed quite a bit in 3.0.0. Did you allow the installer to udpate the http server configuration? If not, it will not work properly. If you have made customizations to the configuration, you'd want to back these up and then merge them into the new configuration.

Clearing the cache did not help.
I did not make any change in the http server configuration.

By calling the link:

I get the same result: "Loading...." and nothing happens.

These links are ok:

I tested some links in Genie:

I can see why the Genie link for the ARMS skin does not work. The skin format has changed with version 3, see the release notes here:

The skin will need to be modified before it can work with version 3. You can look at the product-provided skins for an example of how to do this, or you can zip up the ARMS skin and attach it here. I can perform the necessary modifications and get it back to you.

In regard to the designer, this is an issue with 3.0.0 when using the German CCSID, sorry. I've attached a patch that you can use to correct the issue.

To apply the patch, choose the SAVF for V5R3/V5R4 (DSNPATCHV5) or for V6R1/V7R1 (DSNPATCHV6), transfer it to your server, and restore the single *PGM object inside to your product installation library.

This will correct the problem with the designer.
