HTTP Server Performance

Post by James-S »

Hi.

This may not be the right place to post this but since it is Web Programming I thought why not. Maybe someone can have some insight to help us.

Periodically we get notifications from our user community that our ProfoundUI browser based applications are responding extremely slow. Many times this is widespread and not a localized incident. Our network team has logged network traffic on a few of these occasions and do not see any degradation in our network performance. We feel there may be something in either the Apache HTTP server or something with a possible Profound server configuration which may impact performance?

Being IBM i folks, we are not all up on the HTTP server side of things. So we are not sure if there are things on that end that can be looked at to make the server performance better?
