Recursive problem

Our software is JDEdwards and you navigate using command keys from one program to another.
So from program P4450 you hit F10 to call P44504. In the invocation stack at that moment you have the program P4450 and P44504. There is the option to hit F8 and it will call P4450.
In the green screen version there are not errors but using Genie I am getting the message:
P4450 called itself recursively (C S).
Is there any setting to avoid that?
