Menu with expand/collapse options

How can we set up a menu like the menus on the profoundui/welcome screen with options that you can expand and collapse?
The welcome page is a standard HTML page and the menus on this page were coded with JavaScript.
At the moment there is not a menu widget that has this expand/collapse feature.
