Question:
How would you deal with a one-liner message subfile to be able to show all messages available from the backoffice program?
Answer:
Message subfiles are fully supported in this environment. They will convert automatically from original DDS. They render as a small grid that has no header and just one row. If more than one message is loaded into the message subfile, small up/down arrows will appear that you can click to scroll through multiple messages. You'll see the first-level message text as on the green-screen, and if you click on it, a popup will display as if the help key was pressed on it. There are also newer and more sophisticated ways of handling errors in this environment -- such as attaching tool-tips to individual fields which explain the error.
