Synchronizing source between DDS and the rich display file

Question:
How do you handle synchronizing source between DDS and the converted rich display file when the original DDS is modified AND the rich display file has been customized? Does it re-apply the changes or must it be done manually?
Answer:
The original source and the rich display become separate entities after the conversion. The dependence on the green-screen display file is eliminated. This, in turn, gives you more capabilities.
If you are using refacing, however, changes to the original DDS will automatically be carried over to the graphical user interface.
