Hi, We are having the habbit to include some search or status fields in the control record.
How can we place these ifeld in the controlrecord with the designer ?

When you place a grid widget into a record format, this automatically turns the record format into a subfile control format. You can place any desired fields or widgets onto the record format by just placing them outside the grid component (such as directly above it). When done this way, the fields are created in the subfile control format in the DDS.
When fields or widgets are added inside the grid (by placing them into a column in the first row), the fields become part of the subfile record format.
