Running Profound UI Atrium on IBMi V7R3.
We run a batch cycle at night. We have regular cycle abends due to individual user's Atrium sessions getting left open even though we know the user is off for the day. The sessions can get hung for various reasons. We'd like to cancel all users sessions after x hours or at a specific time before cycle starts.
Old Z/OS guy - so likening this to CICS going down for cycle. Everyone knows to be out at x time.
Curious if you have a similar issue and how you solved it? Thanks!

Re: endjob - Rogue Jobs
Closing the loop on this. Went with a simple solution. We setup a job to look through active jobs and issue ENDJOB on them (omitting the core Profound users which symbolized system jobs). Simple solution but has saved numerous contention abends since implemented.
