Vertical Scroll Bar and Multiple Grids

We have multiple web pages that have more than 1 grid on the web page. Each of these grids relates to a sub-file in the underlying 5250 session. Unless the user first clicks on the grid they want to scroll ( making the underlying sub-file active ), the associated scroll bar could scroll a different grid. Is there a setting for grids or in general that we need to be aware that will ensure that if the user clicks the scroll bar for grid 1 that grid 1 records will scroll, and not records in a different grid on the page?
Thank you,
Jim Von Dolteren

Hi Jim,
Just to confirm: Are you experiencing this problem in Genie with Genie-detected grids? If so, it sounds like you are experiencing a bug in the product. We do have a bug report open at Profound related to scrolling problems when there's more than one grid on the screen in Genie.

Emily, thank you for your follow-up. We have never seen where genie will detect more than one sub-file and generate separate grids. So, in those instances we add grid widgets as needed. Is Genie supposed to be able to detect multiple sub-files?
Thank you,

Hi Jim,
Typically, Genie won't detect multiple grids on the screen. But this problem could still occur if you have one Genie-detected grid, and one grid that is manually added to the screen. The bug that I previously mentioned can happen for screens with multiple grids, no matter how they are added (this also includes Rich Display Files).
I hope that helps!
Thanks!
