Timeout

Hello everybody,
we have a problem with a program that does not run under Commit control.
Sometimes users simply close the browser or the browser gets a time out (1 hour).
I have tried EXFMT(E) - to no avail.
The job is simply shut down with a message of severity 70.
I wonder if anybody has any idea how to monitor this so that we can close the program neatly.
