Can these applications integrate with non-RPG web applications such as those developed with .NET? Can you move back and forth between the two?

Yes, this is possible through standard HTTP requests. You can use AJAX, redirects, etc. We also provide many integration components … for example our IFrame Container widget can include content generated by .NET right on the Rich Display Screen.
In addition, we provide an integration and deployment module called Atrium. This allows you to tie separate types of applications together within a portal-like interface.
