A theme can be specified on the URL like this:

http://mysystem:8080/profoundui/genie?skin=myskin

If you are wanting to change the default skin to be your custom skin, that is done in the global section of the Genie Administrator

Brian, yes I did this but it is not picking up all of the properties from my custom skin.
