Pop up Window w. subfile over another subfile.

Interesting thing found by one our users. We have a screen containing a subfile of orders in our order entry system. A user can place an "F" in the selection column next to an order. After pressing ENTER, a pop-up window will appear with a list (subfile) of forms (Invoice, Bill of Lading, Dispatch Ticket, etc.) that the user can select to print for this order. This forms list contains a page and a half of different forms. The user can scroll down and back up thru the list of forms in order to select one. This works fine.
However, on the order subfile screen, the user has the option to enter a specific order number to isolate that order instead of scrolling thru 10 or 20 pages of orders to find the one he/she needs to work with. After entering the order # and pressing enter, that single order will appear in the first line of the subfile... the rest of the subfile is now empty. Naturally, the "Page Up" or "Page Down" keys are inactive and pressing them will cause an error since there is only 1 record in the subfile. So far, so good. However, when an "F" is entered for that single order, the pop-up window (in Genie) with the forms subfile acts as if there is only a page worth of forms. The scroll bar is in the position that signifies the subfile is at end of file. Only pressing the physical "Page Down" key on the keyboard will enable the user to scroll to the next page of the subfile.
It seems that the pop-up window subfile is being subjected to some of the properties/conditions of the parent screen/subfile. Is there a way to correct this? Thanks.

Did you get an answer to this? It sounds similar to what I have. My main screen has a small subfile on it (with just 3 rows), this works fine. An F4 prompt displays a window with another subfile on but this is only showing the first 3 rows and not all the data.

Jon,

Could you provide us with a screendump of the window w/the second subfile on it? So open the application to the screen with the issue then press CTRL + F9 in your browser. You should receive a prompt to save a file to your PC. Save this and send it to support@profoundlogic.com and we can take a look.
