We have been trying for an hour now to figure out how to copy a sub-file grid within the same record format. We wanted to have a second grid on the record format that had the same headers, columns, settings, etc. Basically, we have screen CTRL, with grid INFO on it. We want to make a copy of INFO on CTRL and call it INFO1.
We have tried using the Copy Record Format and Paste Record Format buttons, but they will not work to allow sub-files to be copied within the same screen record format name.
We are on Profound UI version 4.1.4. Could you please give us some instructions or suggestions on how to copy a sub-file grid within the same screen?
Thanks!

Is there a way to do this. I have a tab panel and I want similar subfiles on each tab. Is there a way to copy the subfile from one tab to another?

Re: Grid/Subfile Copy?
Unfortunately, there is no way to copy/paste a subfile (aside from duplicating the entire screen)
Instead, you'll have to create a new subfile and use the same attributes.
Or, if you're comfortable working with JSON data, you could save the display file to a local file and copy/paste the proper JSON code (making changes to important parts like the 'id') and then re-load it into the designer. This is highly technical, but might work.
