You are replying to a message from 10 years ago that related to a very specific situation. Are you certain that you have the same situation?
Perhaps you can provide a copy of your Genie skin as well as a Ctrl-F9 dump of the screen so we can see what you are doing?
Ooops, I haven't noticed, this is about genie.
Anyway, my problem is:
We are using native Profound display files for order entry.
The users want to use the screens for mass data entry and hence would like to use the keyboards only - no mouse clicks.
The problem is that when they press the tab key in the last field the cursor jumps to a Chrome field in the header of Chrome.
I have tried many hints for similar situations I found in this forums - in vain.
Can you help us, please?
Best wishes,
Rainer
PS: apparently today is not a public holiday in the USA as it is here in Germany :)

Set focus on the field you want control to pass to. Or, suppress the tab key.
It is hard to tell what you are doing wrong. Press Ctrl-f9 to get a dump of the screen, and post it here so we can see what is happening
Or, file a support ticket with Profound Logic.

You seem to misunderstand me.
The user uses the tab key (no Enter involved, no mouse clicks) to navigate through the input capable fields. When he presses the tab key in the last field (right bottom) the cursor should jump to the first (top left) input field.
They want to use the tab key like in a dumb green screen display file.
By default the focus goes to the browser (Chrome) when you press tab in the last field.
I tried to use java script in the onblur event. But I seem to be too stupid :)

Yes, I understand. Please post a ctrl-f9 dump as requested above.

When I press Ctrl-F9
I get
