When using Genie on a remote desktop connection, the 0 key on the keyboard wont work on input boxes. Has anyone else experienced this issue?

Re: Zero button on keyboard
Hello Bill,
We have not heard other customers report this issue before. I am going to try and see if I can recreate this issue on our end by remoting into a separate system and accessing genie. What version of Profound UI are you on and what browser are you using? What version of that Browser?

Re: Zero button on keyboard
I was unable to replicate this issue. Is it only the zero key? Are you using the numpad on your keyboard? If you're using the numpad can you make sure that the num lock option is not currently on? This will prevent all entries from the numpad.

Re: Zero button on keyboard
It is not working anywhere on the keyboard.
The remote desktop is running off of a android tablet, the tablet has a usb keyboard and mouse.
Its also only not working inside the program, on the command line it works.
Would input boxes cause this issue?

Re: Zero button on keyboard
Is it working on alphanumeric fields, but not on numeric fields? Is that what you are observing?

Yes, it seems not to work on numeric fields.

Re: Zero button on keyboard
Is it possible that your Android remote desktop with usb keyboard and mouse returns a different key code than a "normal" keyboard would? (I think that's where Alex was going when he asked this.)
Can you try hitting the zero key on the following page and tell us what the results are?
